Over the past years, we've made ourselves at home in the headless world. CMS for content, custom services for the logic behind it – that works. Editorial teams work in the CMS, developers build the website around it. Clean separation, good collaboration.
Until content becomes interactive. Then an article turns into a form. A page into a booking flow. A calendar entry into a registration with capacity checks. And that's where the CMS leaves you hanging.
When content becomes logic
Registrations, waitlists, available spots, hosts, approvals – that's no longer copy and images. That's operational software. Courses, events, and tours need dates, rules, and participants – not another content type in the CMS.
Don't get us wrong: we love a good CMS. Especially DatoCMS and the team behind it – that's why we became partners. For editorial content, landing pages, and marketing, there's hardly anything better.
But events are not content. They don't belong in the same drawer as blog posts and product pages. They need their own layer – separate from the CMS, seamless on the website.
That's why we built Eventless.
